I had the pleasure of making miniature moss terrariums as bomboniere gifts for the guests of the wedding of the gorgeous Emma-Kate and Michael. This was the first time I had worked on a job of this sort of scale, and for an event as special as a wedding. There were 70 little moss terrariums, and one large one for the bride and groom to take home with them.
Terrariums are such a creative and unique gift to give or an object to own. They are not inanimate objects - they are interactive and require a bit of attention, perfect for a curious mind! They are designed to be experimented with, and they become an ever-evolving ornament for the home or office.
Having the bomboniere gifts set up in one area as a display really had a beautifully enchanted look, using lichen-covered twigs and mossy logs.
I would absolutely love to work on another project like this again!
